NBA Chairman Larry Tanenbaum Joins Bid To Buy Chelsea FC

The chairman of the NBA has joined a bid to buy English football club Chelsea.
Larry Tanenbaum is among the investors backing Stephen Pagliuca’s offer to acquire the London club.
The Canadian already owns a host of North American sports teams.
Tanenbaum’s work on combating antisemitism is “likely to be well-received” by current owner Roman Abramovich, according to a source close to Pagliuca.
Final bids to buy the reigning Champions League champions must be made by Thursday’s deadline.
The Premier League is expected to evaluate the bids tabled, before its preferred bidder is presented to the government.
