Netflix Purchases The Entire Works Of Roald Dahl

Netflix has acquired the entire works of Roald Dahl in a new deal, pegged as the largest ever made by the streamer.
The Roald Dahl Story Company will now form a division within Netflix.
According to Deadline, the new deal expands upon a pre-existing agreement which granted Netflix access to 16 of Dahl’s titles. Netflix states that it intends to create a whole host of new content including animated and live action films and series, games, products and publishing.
The deal also means that Netflix will claim the royalties to any films and shows created by other studios, based on the works of Roald Dahl.
