Not much is known yet about the second season, however Netflix are promising that contain more “madness and mayhem”.
Footage within Netflix’s announcement video also shows clips of Joe Exotic phoning in from jail, where he is currently serving a 17-year-sentence for attempting a murder for hire plot on Carole Baskin.
It’s unclear if either Baskin or her husband Howard, will feature in the second instalment, as it was reported earlier this year that the pair had fallen out with the series directors Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin.
Earlier this week, Alan Glover, one of the Tiger King stars that testified against former zookeeper Joe Exotic during his murder-for-hire case, retracted his testimony. Read more about this story here.
Tiger King 2 is slated for release on Netflix November 17th, 2021.
