New York Mets pitcher, Noah Syndergaard out for six weeks with elbow inflammation.

The news was confirmed by manager Luis Rojas. Noah has been shut down after attempts to return after Tommy John surgery.

ESPN report that the pitcher has not received any further damage to his UCL (ulnar collateral ligament). Rojas spoke on Thursday saying that he hopes Noah can play this year saying, “We pray he can pitch for us this year.”

Syndergaard was attending rehab for his elbow but left due to soreness in his elbow.
