NHL Star Evander Kane Suspended For Breaking COVID Protocol

San Jose Sharks’ forward Evander Kane has been suspended for 21 games by the NHL for breaking COVID-19 protocol. 

The NHL have announced that hockey player Evander Kane has been suspended for 21 regular season games for violating the league’s COVID-19 protocol.

Kane will go without pay for the full length of his suspension and will be eligible to return to his team on November 30.

“I would like to apologize to my teammates, the San Jose Sharks organization, and all Sharks fans for violating the NHL COVID protocols,” the hockey star said in a statement released.

“I made a mistake, one I sincerely regret and take responsibility for,” he added.

Last week reports emerged which claimed that Kane was under investigation by the NHL for allegedly using a fake coronavirus vaccination card.
