Nikita Kucherov Returns To The Ice

Nikita Kucherov made his return to the NHL for Tampa Bay Lightning’s as the team went on to beat Calgary Flames.

The returning player contributed two assists in Tampa’s 4-1 win against the Flames with, Corey Perry, Brayden Point, Ondrej Palat and Alex Killorn getting the goals.

Kucherov returned after 32 games following suffering and undisclosed lower-body injury, ESPN reports.

In a postgame interview Nikita said that it “was nice to be back,” with Lightning’s next game set to take place on January 8th.
