Paris Hilton Claims She’s Been ‘Playing A Character’ All This Time

Paris Hilton is ready to introduce herself to the world… according to her, she’s played a character her entire career. 

The 38-year-old heiress has announced that she’s played a character throughout her career, and insists her The Simple Life persona was all an act.

In an upcoming YouTube documentary, This Is Paris, she is ready to introduce the world to the real Paris.

She told People, “I knew what I was doing the whole world didn’t, so it was kind of frustrating to me to be perceived in that way because it’s not who I am at all … But it was such an amazing and entertaining show that I would just think of it as entertainment.”

Hilton continued, “Obviously, I’ve grown as a person, but just to be judged and have so many misconceptions based on a character that I had invested myself was frustrating. I built a huge brand off doing it, so, I don’t really regret it and I’m happy that people are going to finally see this film.”

After 15 years of Paris Hilton in magazines, on our TV’s and anywhere that has a consumer element, we are going to meet the real version.
