Serena Williams Shuts Down Meghan Markle Question After Australian Open Match

Serena Williams is keeping out of the Meghan Markle-Prince Harry exit from The Royal Family. 

Markle and Williams first met at the Super Bowl in 2010 and since then, the pair have remained good friends.

On Monday, after her Australian Open match, she was quizzed by a journalist about Meghan, who asked, “Your good friend, Meghan Markle, who attended your last 2 slams, and Harry, have taken a move, a stance that many people think is extraordinary and historic. What are your feelings about that? Have you spoken to her?”

Making her stance on the entire situation clear, Serena shuts down the question by saying, “Yeah, I have absolutely no comments on anything with that … But good try. You tried. You did good.”
