Phoebe Bridgers Being Sued By Music Producer For Alleged Defamation

Phoebe Bridgers is facing a $3.8 million dollar lawsuit by music producer Chris Nelson over alleged defamation. 

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the music producer is suing Bridgers for defamation after she allegedly posted false information about him on social media.

Nelson claims that the singer falsely accused him of being a violent abuser in a number of posts posted to her Instagram and that the lies had in turn caused him to lose a significant amount of money.

The producer also stated that the accusations began after he split from his ex-girlfriend, who was supposedly dating Bridgers at time.

Once Nelson split from his ex-girlfriend he claims that both her and Bridgers began posting lies online accusing him of fraud, theft and hate crimes.
