Stella Banderas Files Request To Change Her Last Name

Stella Banderas has requested to legally remove Griffith from her last name.

Daughter of Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith has asked the court to change her name.

Stella has reportedly asked to alter her full name; “Stella Del Carmen Banderas Griffith” to “Stella Del Carmen Banderas”.

According to court documents, obtained by The Blast, the 25-year-old is asking Los Angeles County Courts to remove “Griffith” from her last name.

“I just want to shorten my name by removing the extra last name,” she says in the paperwork.

“As well, I typically do not use ‘Griffith’; when referring to myself or on documents. So, dropping the name would match my regular use.”

There is no indication that there is an issue between Stella or her mother, but she simply just wants to shorten her name.
