Prince Harry And Oprah Working On Mental Health Series

Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry are teaming up to produce a new series focussed on mental health.
Apple is set to launch its new streaming service later this year, with original shows similar to the way Netflix deliver their content.
In a post via the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Instagram account, the duo revealed their plans to deliver a new series focussed around mental health — and it will premiere in 2020.
The announcement reads, “The dynamic multi-part documentary series will focus on both mental illness and mental wellness, inspiring viewers to have an honest conversation about the challenges each of us faces, and how to equip ourselves with the tools to not simply survive, but to thrive,”
Prince Harry has said he was “incredibly proud to be working alongside Oprah on this vital series … I truly believe that good mental health ― mental fitness ― is the key to powerful leadership, productive communities and a purpose-driven self … It is a huge responsibility to get this right as we bring you the facts, the science and the awareness of a subject that is so relevant during these times.”
He admitted during an interview with The Telegraph in 2017 that he has “been very close to a complete breakdown on numerous occasions when all sorts of grief and sort of lies and misconceptions and everything are coming to you from every angle,”
This unlikely friendship doesn’t come as any surprise, as the duo have known each other for many years, in fact, Oprah attended his wedding last year at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
