Rafael Nadal Withdraws From Wimbledon And Olympic Games

Rafael Nadal who has won twenty grand slam championships in his career announced the news on his social media that he will not be participating at the events.
The decision comes as the player wants to continue to play at the highest level and to do this he has to listen to his body. “The goal is to prolong my career and continue to do what makes me happy,” Nadal said in a tweet.
Nadal recently participated in the French Open in which he was knocked out in the semi-finals to eventual winner Novak Djokovic.
Hi all, I have decided not to participate at this year’s Championships at Wimbledon and the Olympic Games in Tokyo. It’s never an easy decision to take but after listening to my body and discuss it with my team I understand that it is the right decision
