Roman Atwood Uploads First Video Since Mother’s Death

Roman Atwood has published a tribute video for his mother that passed away during a family vacation.
The actor and YouTube star shared the heartbreaking news on May 30, 2019, that his mother, Susan Christman, had passed away after falling off a scooter during a family holiday.
He wrote, “As most of you know my family and I are on vacation together. Yesterday my mom was riding around with my nephew on some little scooters. She fell off hers and hit her head.
She immediately lost all vitals. No heart rate and her breathing stopped. She was rushed to the hospital where we spent the next 8 hours… My beautiful mother passed away shortly after. I need everyone to understand that I will be gone for a bit. I will be by my family’s side especially my fathers. We are rushing back home to Ohio to figure everything out.
Please pray for my family and especially for my father. I’ve never been in more shock in my life. I’m numb and in complete disbelief. My heart is so heavy. We are all broken over here. Mom was everything to us.”
On Father’s Day, Roman shared a photograph of him and his father, captioning it, “A very hard month with the strongest man I know. Happy Father’s Day. Thank you for all the overwhelming love.”
Since his mothers passing, Roman has stayed off social media and focussed on his family and building the strength to post a video for his fanbase to have an update.
On June 24, Roman posted his first video since Susan’s passing where he explains his current headspace and challenges viewers to “make right” with those around us that we aren’t connected with anymore.
The emotional video includes tributes to Susan and the last ever vlog he made with her in. He wrote in the description, “I promised myself I wouldn’t make a video until I could make the video without crying. Your love and support over the last month has been incredible. We are so blessed to have you. Thank you for loving my Mom.”
