Matt LeBlanc Apologised For Being ‘Rude’ To Ross Mathews At Red Carpet Event

Ross Mathews has called out Friends co-stars Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry for being ‘rude’ to him.
The 40-year-old has published his new book, Name Drop, where he details about a red carpet event for NBC‘S 75th Anniversary Party for The Tonight Show.
He was interviewing guests of the red carpet when Perry and LeBlanc approach him, to which Mathews excitedly says, “It is so good to meet you! I’m Ross!”
In a snappy reply, LeBlanc says, “No you’re not, he’s over there” referring to David Schwimmer — who played Ross in the sitcom — to which Ross replies, “Oh yeah, the other Ross,”
He writes in his book, “That didn’t go over well. Immediately the mood changed. Matthew Perry began staring into the camera blankly as Matt LeBlanc asked, ‘How did you get this gig?’” before Mathews jokingly responded, “I slept my way to the top.”
Mathews continues to write, “Matt LeBlanc pointed to me, then looked into the camera, and said, ‘Jay, are you kidding? Are you kidding, Jay?’ Matthew Perry joined in, addressing the camera and asking, ‘What’s the call here, Jay?’”
LeBlanc corrected his wrong when Ross was covering the SAG Awards for E! on the red carpet. He approached, but this time said, “I don’t know if you even remember this, but years ago you interviewed me on a red carpet and I was really rude to you.
It’s bugged me ever since and I’ve always wanted to apologise to you. It wasn’t cool of me to do that to you. I’m sorry.” — Perry is yet to follow in LeBlanc’s footsteps, but Ross took the ordeal as a joke.
