Rutger Hauer Known For ‘Batman Begins’ Has Died Aged 75

Rutger Hauer has died aged 75 after a short illness. 

The Dutch actor, best known for his role in the classic film Blade Runner where he co-starred alongside Harrison Ford, died at his home in the Netherlands last week.

According to his agent, his funeral was held on Wednesday.

His film credits include The Hitcher, Blade Runner, Sin City, Batman Begins and Hobo with a Shotgun. He also won a Golden Globe in 1988 for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in the TV series Escape From Sobibor.
