Ryan Reynolds Is Taking A Break From Acting

Ryan Reynolds has announced he is taking “a little sabbatical” from making movies.
After finishing filming from his latest project, the upcoming holiday movie Spirited, Reynolds has decided to take a break from acting.
In an Instagram post full of BTS shots of the production, the actor shared that filming for the film has now finished.
“That’s a wrap for me on Spirited. Not sure I’d have been ready to say yes to a film this challenging even three years ago” he writes.

“Perfect time for a little sabbatical from movie making. I’m gonna miss every second working with this obscenely gifted group of creators and artists” he continues.
Ryan also expresses his excitement to have been working alongside Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer, who he has worked with in the past.
He has not stated how long his break will be, but instead concludes his caption stating how lucky he has been.
“These days, kindness matters as much as talent. I’ve been lucky to work with folks who are flush with both.”
Reynolds plays the Ebenezer Scrooge figure in the new musical reimagining of A Christmas Carol. You can read more about this here.
