Sacha Baron Cohen Spotted Filming ‘Borat’ Sequel; Reprising The Character For The First Time Since 2006

Sacha Baron Cohen is reprising his role as Borat for an upcoming sequel.
According to footage that began circulating social media this week, the 48-year-old controversial actor was spotted behind the wheel in a beaten-down vehicle in Long Beach, California as a camera crew filmed a scene.
Cohen, who plays Borat Sagiyev, a journalist from Kazakhstan that visits the United States to document his experience with the American culture, has used the character for promotional appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live on multiple occasions, but this is the first time he will be using the character for a film since 2006.
In 2007, Borat won a Golden Globe alongside a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars.
