Sam Rockwell, Awkwafina And Anthony Ramos Cast In ‘The Bad Guys’

Sam Rockwell, Awkwafina and Anthony Ramos have been enlisted into the cast of DreamWorks‘ new animation ‘The Bad Guys‘.

The new film is an adaptation of a book series by Aaron Blabey. It follows a criminal crew of animals as they attempt to become model citizens.

According to Variety, the three stars join a voice-over cast including Marc Macron, Craig Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Lilly Singh, Alex Borstein and Richard Ayoade.

Rockwell is well known for his roles in features including Jojo Rabbit, Three Billboards and Iron Man 2. He was also recently attached to an untilted project by Tom George.

33-year-old Awkwafina is currently awaiting her Marvel debut in September with Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings; while Anthony Ramos is in production of the next Transformers film, ‘Rise of the Beasts.

Pierre Perifel is directing the new feature, with Etan Cohen as writer. Damon Ross and Rebecca Huntley will produce.

The Bad Guys will arrive in cinemas on April 2022.
