Tiffany Haddish And LaKeith Stanfield Join Disney’s ‘Haunted Mansion’

Tiffany Haddish and LaKeith Stanfield are reportedly in negotiations to join Disney’s ‘Haunted Mansion‘.

The new film will be based on a famous Disney World ride by the same name.

“The disembodied voice of the Ghost Host is your private guide through the cadaverous realm of an eerie haunted estate, home to ghosts, ghouls and supernatural surprise.” Reads the description the Disney World website.

“Glide past a casket-filled conservatory, Madame Leota’s chilling séance room and a ghostly graveyard of singing specters as you attempt to find your way out. Beware of hitchhikers—these phantom pranksters may follow you home.”

This new feature is not the first to be based on a Disney World attraction. Pirates of the Caribbean was famously based on a ride by the same name, as well as the newly released feature, Jungle Cruise. Scarlett Johansson was also recently attached to a ride-inspired Disney film – Tower of Terror.

Tiffany Haddish is due to feature in Apple’s new series The Afterparty, and upcoming crime film, The Card Counter. LaKeith Stanfield will appear in the new western film, The Harder They Fall, opposite Idris Elba and Regina King.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, production of the new feature will begin in Louisiana over the autumn.
