Scarlett Johansson And Chris Evans Join ‘Ghosted’

Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans will star in Apple’s new adventure film ‘Ghosted‘.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dexter Fletcher is set to direct the feature. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who penned the Deadpool script, will write for this new project.

‘Ghosted‘ is described as a romantic action adventure film similar to 1984’s ‘Romancing The Stone‘.

This feature will bring Johansson and Evans together for the first time since the conclusion of Marvel’s Avengers. Johansson is currently embroiled in a legal dispute with Disney over loss of income over Black Widow.

Evans will next appear on-screen with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence in ‘Don’t Look Up‘, due to release in December 2021. He will also star in Anthony and Joe Russo’s action thriller ‘The Gray Man‘ – set for release on Netflix.

Johansson was recently confirmed to feature in Wes Anderson’s next feature, currently filming in Spain. She will also provide the voice of Ash in ‘Sing 2‘ in December.
