The series is based on a book series written by Ann M. Martin and follows a group of friends as they start a baby-sitting business. As they juggle their new responsibilities as local caregivers, they also have to overcome challenges in their personal lives.
“In season 2, we really get to see a maturation of the club and of the girls.” Stated show creator, Rachel Shukert. The statement was shared by Variety. “There are two new members and they’re all a year older and have more experience running a business, deeper friendships and are growing into a deeper understanding of themselves as people.”
‘The Baby-Sitters Club‘ stars Sophie Grace, Malia Baker, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudolph and Kyndra Sanchez – who replaces Xochitl Gomez in the second season. Gomez was forced to depart the show after scheduling conflicts with her work on Doctor Strange 2.
Alicia Silverstone, Mark Feurstein and Marc Evan Jackson also feature.
