Selena Gomez Has Been Nominated For A Critics Choice Award
Selena Gomez has been nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in Only Murders in the Building at the 2022 Critics Choice Awards.
Gomez is competing against Elle Fanning, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Sandra Oh, Issa Rae and Jean Smart.
“Although the industry is still recovering from the Covid-19 lockdown, you wouldn’t know it from the wealth of amazing television programs our nomination committees pored through to come up with this year’s nominees,” said Critics Choice Association TV Branch president Ed Martin.
This nomination comes quickly after a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Pop Album.
She posted a heartfelt Instagram post after hearing of the nomination.
Gomez wrote “Are you kidding me!? Revelación is nominated for a GRAMMY!”
“This project is so special to me for so many reasons and I could not have made it happen without this incredible team of people by my side. I am forever grateful to each and every one of you ♥️ and of course MY FANS”
