Selena Gomez is suing a game company for using her celebrity to profiteer.

The 27-year-old singer has filed a lawsuit against multiple companies that handle software and other technology, claiming they are using her image, name and likeness without her express permission.

She has sued the mobile game Clothes Forever – Styling Game, after discovering they were using her image, name and likeness, and in the legal documentation, she is described as being shocked to learn they were using her celebrity.

According to the filed documentation, her brand is very strong and worth hundreds of thousands for one sponsored post on social media, and is suing for damages and demands the game is shut down for alleged unlawful activity and business practices.

Gomez even slammed the application, saying it was “bug-riddled” — and says the game clearly stole a front cover magazine and used it on their application.
