Sequel To Disney’s ‘Jungle Cruise’ In The Works

A sequel to Disney’s recently released Jungle Cruise is reportedly already in the works.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are already set to return for a second installment to the new franchise.
‘Jungle Cruise‘ debuted in late July and has grossed $100 million at the US box office. The film is based on a Disneyland ride by the same name and follows Frank Wolff and Dr. Lily Houghton on a riverboat adventure.
Original director, Jaume Collet-Serra will also allegedly return for the sequel, along with producers John Davis, John Fox and Beau Flynn. Michael Green returns as writer.
