Shailene Woodley Replaces Emma Roberts In ‘Robots’

Shailene Woodley has joined new comedy, Robots, co-directed by Anthony Hines and Casper Christensen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Woodley replaces original star Emma Roberts.
Hines has been a creative partner to Sacha Baron Cohen for 20 years and previously received Oscar nominations for his work writing for Borat and Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm.
British comedian Jack Whitehall will star alongside Woodley.
Whitehall will also feature in Disney’s upcoming Jungle Cruise, set for release in July.
Shailene Woodley, known for award winning series Big Little Lies, recently featured in Netflix’s, The Last Letter From Your Lover. Woodley will also star in upcoming thriller, Misanthrope.
The film is an adaptation of a short science fiction by Robert Sheckley. The story follows womaniser, Charles (Whitehall) and gold-digger, Elaine (Woodley); two people forced together to track down their robot doubles.
