Shane Dawson Won’t Take 7 Months To Upload New Series

Shane Dawson, undoubtedly one of the greatest content creators, has announced a new series in collaboration with Jeffree Star.
His announcement came several weeks ago when he uploaded photographs of Jeffree Star’s promotional events, but today gave an official update to provide transparency in the development stage.
Shane doesn’t seem to have a break in between his gigantic, Netflix worthy series’, and has already begun work on the next — the details surrounding the new “2 seasons” haven’t been released, however, Shane has revealed that he and Andrew Siwicki — his co-producer — have “been filming for the last 2 weeks with Jeffree Star” and are “pretty much going to be filming with him for the next 7 months because the series involves things that take a while to create.”
Moments after he announced they are going to be filming for the next “7 months”, fans were quick to speculate that Shane wouldn’t be uploading for the next 7 months. Fortunately, that isn’t true.
The full update reads, “Hey guys! Been filming for the last 2 weeks with Jeffree Star and we are pretty much going to be filming with him for the next 7 months because the series involves things that take a while to create.
It’s the first time me and Andrew have filmed a series for more than a week so it’s new territory for us but it’s been so fun and inspiring for us. I don’t know exactly how we are going to figure out release dates of anything like that because we are going to be editing while we are also filming so it’s all a little overwhelming but I promise it will be worth the wait! We are thinking of posting it as 2 seasons kind of like a TV show and doing one season in the summer and one in the fall. But who knows! We just wanna make it great!
We are also going to be filming a couple of other series in between with some people and subjects that I’m really invested in and I think you guys will be excited about those too.
Wish us luck! And thanks for supporting us and getting us so excited about making stuff. Your tweets, artwork, and all the memes really do keep us motivated at 3 am. See you soon”
Shane was quick to address the speculation of a 7-month wait, saying, “There will be stuff on my channel in the next couple of months. Just letting you know we are filming one of the series over the course of 7 months”
Thank goodness.
