Shanna Moakler Announces Pregnancy Following Ex-Boyfriend’s Arrest

Shanna Moakler reveals that she is pregnant following the arrest of her ex-boyfriend Matthew Rondeau last week.

In a statement to People, the Celebrity Big Brother star said: “I took a pregnancy test and it is positive. This has been a very difficult week, but I’m taking everything day by day.”

Rondeau was arrested for felony domestic violence on Thursday (February 24) after an alleged violent assault against Moakler.

The former Miss USA was granted an emergency protective order against Rondeau earlier this week, with police reports depicting how he had thrown a chair at her, grabbed her hair and urinated on her.

Shortly before the assault, Rondeau posted an expletive-laden rant on social media, declaring his relationship with Moakler “over” and accusing her of cheating on him.

Releasing a statement after his release from jail, Rondeau said, “Today was one of the most heartbreaking days of my life.”

“To my family and friends, I just want you to know I love you so so much. You know I’d never lay a hand on another woman. My mother is my angel and my best friend. She raised me right.” He continued, “I’m just mentally drained and in complete disbelief. The love of my life has made me out to be a villain.”

Moakler already shares her 16-year-old daughter Alabama and 18-year-old son Landon with her ex-husband Travis Barker. She also has a 22-year-old daughter, Atiana, with her former partner Oscar De La Hoya.

Following news of the assault on her mother, Alabama said on Instagram: “Just texted my mom! I’m not sure what happened on her live. I’m in contact with her & she is okay. That man needs serious help!
