Simon Cowell To Judge In New Game Show ‘Walk The Line’

Notorious musical mogul, Simon Cowell, is set to return to television screens as a judge on musical game show, Walk The Line.

The new show will be distributed globally and is being produced by ITV – the home of X Factor.

Variety reports that Walk The Line will see musical acts perform on stage in front of a panel of judges, headed by Cowell. The two best performances will then compete against each other to be crowned winner. The champion will then need to choose between a cash prize or the right to continue in the show. The longer a contestant stays in the show, and wins, the larger the prize pot.

“I am thrilled to be working with Lifted Entertainment and ITV on this new project. We wanted to develop a show which will give the contestants a life-changing cash prize if they win.” Said Cowell in a statement. “I’m very excited at giving musical talent the opportunity to transform their lives like never before.”

Cowell suffered a back injury in 2020 after a bike accident. He was hospitalised but has since recovered.
