Rachel Zegler Cast As Live-Action Snow White For Upcoming Adaptation

Director Marc Webb commented on the casting saying “Rachel’s extraordinary vocal abilities are just the beginning of her gifts,”

Rachel Zegler has landed the role of the iconic Snow White character adding to the list of big name projects the star is set to appear in. Sources have told Deadline that the actress is set to star as the character. 

Insiders have noted that whilst Zegler’s “auditions impressed everyone,” the footage from her upcoming role in West Side Story, “blew away the Disney studio brass who’ve seen it,” Deadline reports. She is also set star in D.C’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods.

Marc Platt is set to produce the film with The Greatest Showman duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul writing songs for the movie.
