Simone Biles Withdraws From Individual All Around Gymnastics Final
Following her withdrawing from the women’s team gymnastics finals, Simone Biles will now not participate in the women Individual all-around competition at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
In a statement from USA Gymnastics they state that “After further medical evaluation, Simone Biles has withdrawn from the final individual all-around competition” adding that this is due to her wanting to focus on her mental health.
USA Gymnastics also showed their support for Biles as the statement went on to say that they “applaud her bravery in prioritising her well-being.”
