President of the UFC Dana White confirmed the news with ESPN, as the rematch will main event the November card.
Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington met in 2019 when the two faced off the first time for the Welterweight title. The outcome was a win for Usman via a fifth round TKO.
The two fighters will once share the octagon, in November at UFC 268 with an official date and venue yet to be finalised.
