Soulja Boy Issued With Domestic Violence Restraining Order

Rapper Soulja Boy has been issued with a domestic violence restraining order against a woman who is suing him for alleged sexual assault. 

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the rapper has agreed to a restraining order which will require him to stay away from an unidentified woman until 2024.

The unnamed woman is allegedly the same person who filed a suit again the rapper earlier this year in January. She accuses the rapper whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way of domestic violence, sexual battery, negligence and assault.

She also claimed that she was in a relationship with Cortez Way while working as his personal assistant and that he made the work environment hostile.

Speaking to TMZ, a representative for Cortez Way said that he denied the claims made against him.

“Soulja would never put his hands on a female. He wouldn’t beat a woman or put his hands on a woman … this is non-sense!,” the representative said.

Neither Cortez Way nor the woman appeared at the restraining order hearing. Both where instead represented by their attorneys.
