Taryn Manning Signed On For ‘Karen’ In Upcoming Thriller About ‘A Racist, Entitled White Woman,’

Taryn Manning is stepping back into the spotlight for an upcoming thriller.
The 41-year-old Orange Is the New Black star is bringing the now infamous name Karen to the big screen after she signed on for an upcoming thriller written and directed by Coke Daniels.
She is set to play Karen White, described as “a racist, entitled white woman in the South who terrorises her new African-American neighbours,” – the term Karen has been heavily used across social media to describe women that allegedly oppose other races.
Officials in San Francisco are trying to pass the CAREN Act, which is attempting to make it illegal for anyone to make discriminatory, racially-biased 911 calls. CAREN Act stands for Caution Against Racially Exploitative Non-Emergencies.
