Team USA Win Fourth Straight Men’s Basketball Gold At Olympics

Team USA remain Olympic basketball champions in their win against France, in which Kevin Durant scored 29 points. 

In their previous meeting France beat USA but when it came to the final, it was the defending champions who won 97-82.

The win makes this the second longest gold medal winning streak in the olympics, behind their own record of seven games which ran from 1936-68.

Adding to their collections of gold medals was Durant and Carmelo Anthony who now have three Olympic gold medals the most for U.S mens basketball. Also continuing their winning ways are Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday who recently won the NBA Championship. Read more here.
