Luka Doncic Signs New Deal With Dallas Mavericks

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic agrees new five year deal BDA Sports tells ESPN, with the player set to sign the contract.
Doncic becomes the first player eligible for the supermax rookie extension deal, following being voted twice for first-team all-NBA. The deal also includes a player option that can be activated in the final year of the contract.
Speaking about the new deal, Doncic says that, “Today is a dream come true,” adding that he is “humbled and excited to remain in Dallas as part of the Mavericks.”
The player will earn $207 million over the course of the five years.
Luka joined the Mavericks in a trade that saw the third overall pick move from Atlanta Hawks for the first overall pick Trae Young and a future first-round pick.
In the players statement with ESPN he revealed that he will be “increasing my efforts and focusing on expanding the Luka Doncic Foundation.”
