‘The Matrix 4’ Production Extended By 8 Weeks As Keanu Reeves Returns For ‘Neo’ Role
The production for The Matrix 4 took a hit as COVID-19 became a global pandemic, and now an extension for filming has been made.
Keanu Reeves will be returning for his role as Neo in the Lana Wachowski franchise, with other stars including Carrie-Ann Moss, Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Groff and Yahya Abdul Mateen.
Originally, the filming began in February in San Francisco with the crew making their way to Berlin to shoot more of the film there, but since then, nothing has been recorded and everything went AWOL.
Due to the delay in production, our sources tell us the film will be delayed in its release from May 21, 2021, to July 12, 2021.
