The ‘Toxic Avenger’ Casts Elijah Wood And Julia Davis

Elijah Wood and Julia Davis have joined the cast of ‘Toxic Avenger‘, joining Peter Dinklage, Taylour Paige, Kevin Bacon and Jacob Tremblay.

News of the casting was first shared by Deadline.

Macron Blair is set to write and direct the new film, with Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz producing. Blair has previously directed the 2017 crime drama I Don’t Feel At Home In This World Anymore.

Toxic Avenger is an adaptation of the 1984 film by the same name. The story follows a man named Melvin who is pushed into a vat of toxic waste and transformed into a mutant. An underdog hero – Melvin tries to protect his friends and family from corruption and greed.
