Tish Cyrus Files For Divorce From Billy Ray Cyrus

Tish Cyrus has filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus after almost 30 years of marriage.

According to TMZ, Tish made the court filing in Tennesse last week and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. Adding that the couple is separated and hasn’t lived together for two years, Tish requested an “equitable division and distribution” of their marital assets.

Tish and Billy Ray tied the knot back in 1993 and share five children including 29-year-old Wrecking Ball singer Miley Cyrus, 22-year-old Noah, 34-year-old Brandi, 33-year-old Trace, and 27-year-old Braison.

The couple has filed for divorce on two previous occasions, with Billy Ray filing in October 2010 and Tish filing in 2013. On both occasions, the pair has managed to reconcile and withdrawn their petitions.

“We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together,” the couple said in a joint statement to Entertainment Tonight after dropping the 2013 divorce filing.

“We both went into couples therapy, something we haven’t done in 22 years of being together, and it’s brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways.”
