Tupac Estate Announces Exhibit Exploring His Life

An immersive museum experience exploring Tupac‘s life is set to open in Los Angeles in January 2022. 

Tupac Shakur‘s estate has announced on Instagram that an exhibition, entitled Wake Me Up When I’m Free, will be available for fans to visit in January 2022.

The exhibition will be an immersive experience for those attending and will showcase exclusive and unseen objects from the late rapper’s life.

The museum experience “will provide a deeper understanding of this legendary artist who used his creative platform to speak for the voiceless and oppressed” – the caption reads.

“Created in collaboration with the Shakur Estate, this exhibit leverages technology, contemporary art, and never before seen artifacts from Tupac’s personal archives,” states the official Wake Me Up When i’m Free exhibition website.

Tupac Shakur. Wake Me When I’m Free will delve into the greater meaning of his activism, music, and revolutionary art, as the exhibit educates and enlightens attendees through a labyrinth of emotions, as they take this journey through his extraordinary life.”

The display is not being shown exclusively in Los Angeles. There are plans for the exhibition to travel to other cities, but these details are yet to be released.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from November 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. PST.
