Valerie Bertinelli Files For Separation From Husband Tom Vitale

Valerie Bertinelli has filed for legal separation from her husband of 10 years, Tom Vitale.

According to TMZ, Bertinelli made the filing in LA on Wednesday (November 24). The actress and television host reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences”.

The court documents also reference the couple’s prenuptial agreement to handle the split of their assets, while Bertinelli requests that neither party receives spousal support.

Bertinelli has been married to Vitale, a financial planner and CEO of Veebow, since 2011. Previously, she was married to the late rockstar Eddie Van Halen, who passed away due to cancer in 2020. The pair had one son, Wolfgang, who performed as the bassist for Van Halen from 2006 until his father’s death.
