‘Duck Dynasty’ Willie Robertson Family House Targeted During Drive-By Shooting
Willie Robertson and his family are the victims of what could have been a fatal drive-by shooting at their family home.
The 48-year-old CEO of Duck Commander and Duck Dynasty reality television star has revealed his family home was shot at around 10 times as someone took aim from the road near the family estate in West Monroe, Louisiana.
According to Robertson, “We were pretty shook up. It looks like they were just spraying bullets across my property. Nobody was outside at the time, but everybody had been out above five minutes before. I had just gone to the store when it happened.”
He also revealed during an interview with USA Today that bullets went through the bedroom window of the home where his wife, Mary Kate, and son John Luke Robertson, along with their infant child, mainly stay in the house.
The incident took place on Friday, April 24, around 2.30PM, and a male has recently been arrested, 38-year-old Daniel King Jr, and charged with one count of aggravated assault by drive-by shooting and one count of criminal neglect of family – his bond was set at $150,000 and booked into The Ouachita Parish Sheriff”s Office in Monroe, Louisiana.
