Amber Portwood, Teen Mom Star, Arrested For Domestic Battery

Amber Portwood, one of the original stars of MTV’s Teen Mom, was arrested on Friday. 

TMZ.com reports the reality star was arrested in Indianapolis for domestic battery around 6:00m AM and remains in custody at the time of publishing this article.

Hinting that her and boyfriend Andrew Glennon may be tying the knot in the near future, it is unclear that he was involved in the alleged domestic battery arrest, and law enforcement has remained quiet about the supposed victim.

On a recent episode of Teen Mom OG, they had a pregnancy scare, but the couple has one child together, with Amber being a mother to two, James, 1, and Leah, 10 — with Gary Shirley being the father.

In 2012 Amber was given a choice of rehab or prison, and she chose prison when she was found guilty of violating her probation in a drug possession case.
