Anderson Cooper Tests Positive For COVID-19

TV host Anderson Cooper has tested positive for COVID-19.
The CNN host was forced to miss last night’s broadcast after revealing his diagnosis on Instagram Stories.
“Just tested positive for Covid,” he wrote. “Thankfully the kids are negative. Hope to get back to work soon.”
Anderson has two sons, 23-month-old Wyatt and 2-month-old Sebastian, who he co-parents with his former partner Benjamin Maisani.

Though Cooper did not say whether he was experiencing any symptoms from his illness, his hope to return quickly to work might suggest they are relatively mild.
News of his diagnosis comes amid a rising number of COVID-19 cases in the Washington D.C. area, particularly among prominent figures such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Filling in for Cooper during his usual 8pm Anderson Cooper 360 segment was his colleague John Burman.
