Brandon Routh Cast In Animated Adaptation Of ‘Magic: The Gathering’

Brandon Routh has joined the cast of new Netflix series Magic: The Gathering.

The series is an adaptation of a video game by the same name.

The announcement of Routh’s casting was made during Wizard’s of the Coast’s Magic Showcase 2021.

‘Magic: The Gathering‘ will reportedly expand on the stories of ‘Planewalkers‘  – unique magic-wielding heroes and villains from the game. Routh will reportedly play the role of Gideon Jura, a particularly heroic Planewalker.

Jeff Klein and Steve Meleching penned the script for the first season.

The new Netflix series hopes for a release date in late 2022.
