LaKeith Stanfield Starring In Apple’s ‘The Changeling’

LaKeith Stanfield will star in Apple’s upcoming series The Changeling based on the novel by Victor LaValle.

Variety reports that Kelly Marcel is penning the script for the adaptation, while Melina Matsoukas will direct.

The story follows Apollo Kagwa, a book dealer and new father to son, Brian – named after his absent father. When his wife, Emma, disappears after an unspeakable act of violence, Apollo is left grasping the threads of his unravelled life.

Apple Studios and Annapurna are producing the new series.

Stanfield will next appear in Netflix’s new western film, The Harder They Fall, in November. His last featured on the big-screen in Judas and the Black Messiah, alongside Daniel Kaluuya.
