Chris Martin & Dakota Johnson Reportedly Split
Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson have reportedly split after 18-months.
The Coldplay lead-singer and the Fifty Shades of Grey actress have split, according to a source close to Paradise singer, with the breakup coming as “a real surprise,”
The source has been cited to say, “Chris and Dakota were very easygoing and always seemed really happy together … There was talk of engagement but now he says they have gone their separate ways, which has come as a real surprise to everyone.”
Chris’ ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, whom he shares two children with, Apple and Moses, told the Times previously, “I adore her [Dakota] … [She’s] a fantastic woman.”
On April 23, 2019, Gwyneth posed in a photograph with Dakota with Derek Blasberg, with the Instagram caption from Derek saying, “Consciously throupling.”

In October, Dakota, one month after the couple allegedly got matching tattoos, stated she was “very happy,” when asked about her love life. Their romance has remained extremely private and they never publicly confirmed their relationship, and have never been on a red carpet event together.
Neither Dakota nor Chris has responded to reports, but it would seem this story is accurate due to the source stating the couple have split after nearly two years.
