Daisy Ridley Returns To Social Media After Six-Year Absence
Actress Daisy Ridley has returned to Instagram after a six-year long break from the platform.
The 29-year-old Star Wars icon has come back to Instagram after previously stating she would never return to the social media platform in many interviews in the past years.
“The statistics that link them (social media sites) to anxiety are terrifying. I have friends completely addicted to their phone who have suffered with this problem,” Ridley said in an interview with S Moda last year.
“I don’t want to go back, but sometimes I think about it, but the truth is that no, I won’t be returning,” she added.
In her first post back on Instagram, Ridley is pictured in a bathroom robe receiving some self-care, while she sits in a chair sipping some tea.
“Coming out of social media hibernation refreshed, recharged, and ready for what I’m calling my ‘Year of Yes’. (And that’s the tea,)” she wrote in the caption.
