Date And Location Set For Anthony Joshua VS Oleksandr Usyk

Anthony Joshua will take on Oleksandr Usyk on the 25th of September at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

The current heavyweight champion Joshua will put his IBF, WBA and WBO championships on the line. This will be the first boxing event to take place at the London stadium. 

Following the announcement of the date and venue confirmation, the champion said that “The date is set and we are fully locked in,” Sky Sports report.

Anthony added that he is “honoured to be the first person to fight in such an awe-inspiring venue.”

Both fighters won gold medals at the London 2012 Olympics. Usyk won his gold in the heavyweight weight category whilst Joshua won gold in the super heavyweight category.
