Jodie Whittaker Leaving ‘Doctor Who’ After Season 13

Jodie Whittaker is set to leave her role as the first-ever female Time Lord on Doctor Who.
The 38-year-old actress, who joined the series in 2017 for season 11, is about to see her character morphe into the next generation of the Doctor.
According to multiple insiders, Whittaker is retiring from the series after just three seasons, similar to Peter Capaldi and Matt Smith, and with just eight episodes left, season 13 will mark her third and final time as the Doctor.
The BBC has made a comment in response to the current reports, saying, “We won’t be commenting on any speculation around Jodie‘s future on the show.” – of course, avoiding any upcoming spoilers directly from the series creators.
