Dominic West’s Son To Play Prince William In ‘The Crown’

The son of Dominic WestSenan West – is set to portray a young Prince William in The Crown.

According to Variety, West’s 13-year-old son was cast after an expansive nationwide search. West is also set to portray his son’s on-screen father, Prince Charles, while Elizabeth Debicki will play Princess Diana.

Work is currently underway on the fifth season of The Crown, with Senan scheduled to debut in the finale episode. The latest series will follow the royal family through the events of the 1990s, though Netflix has yet to say whether it intends to depict the death of Diana.

Other challenges faced by the family included the fire of Winsor Castle and the divorces of all four of the Queen’s children.

Also joining the cast are Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Khalid Abdalla as Al Fayed, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret and Johnny Lee Miller as John Major.

The Crown will reportedly premiere in 2022.
